Jill joined Absolute Corporate Events to open the East Midlands office in 2002. She worked closely with Tim to build the new branch into the thriving business it is today. Prior to joining Absolute, Jill spent 10 years working in hotel management, as well as spells with Hayley Conference Centres and another hotel bookings agency in Nottingham.

Angie Mason

Angie has a wealth of experience in event management, hotel booking and venue finding. In 1991, she opened her first venue finding agency and the business was later merged with one of the UK’s top 20 full service agencies. Angie remained company MD until 2005 before joining Absolute Corporate Events to undertake a more bespoke style of management. She has served as an executive committee member of the Hotel Booking Agents Association, becoming Chairman in 2003. She was also on the UK board for the Meeting Professionals International (MPI).

Gemma Cummings

Gemma has worked in event management since graduating from college and has notched up some impressive entries to her CV. At her previous company, Gemma quickly rose to head the accommodation department and also worked in the event management and venue finding departments. She prides herself on delivering outstanding levels of customer service and is a much-valued member of the Absolute team.

Kamala Newton

Kamala has quickly learned the importance of high standards at Absolute. She joined the team on a work experience placement while studying for an Event Management degree and her hard work and dedication impressed. Kamala has been a permanent team member since 2007 and has already completed many on-site events, both in the UK and overseas.

Rachel Burlingham
Events Manager | Nottingham
After a 4 year break, during which time she managed to have 2 children (where does the time go?!), Rachel has re-joined the Nottingham Office on a part-time basis. She returns with her wealth of knowledge of clients, venue-finding and organising events. During her 4 year break, she kept abreast of everything happening in the industry and assisted us as a freelance onsite Events Manager on many events. We are delighted to have her back in the team.

Tim Gasson
Tim founded Absolute Corporate Events in February 1995. He sadly passed away in May 2007 and the Wiltshire office he had managed closed. Tim will be remembered for his enthusiasm and passion for the events and hotel industry, his knowledge, attention to detail and sense of fun in everything he did. He is much missed by all who had the pleasure to know him.
