Fun in the sun 2009 - Majorca

We were asked to provide our Event Management expertise to David Hackett (Chairman of BI) to support his 60th birthday celebrations taking place on the sunny isle of Majorca. Angie Mason and Alexis Butler provided event support throughout the whole weekend’s celebrations which included a 60s gala evening.

Absolute Corporate Events were ‘won’ by David to help run his weekend long party. He bid for us earlier this year on the M & IT Magazine online auction in aid of Save the Children. We flew out to the island and a great time was had by the attendees. No partying for Angie and Alexis though – so they said!!

Some of you joined us for a fabulous day at the races, courtesy of the stunning Ascot racecourse. Champagne and Pimms flowed as the sun shone down on us for a great day of catching up, lovely food, plentiful liquid and (oh yes) some horse racing too!!

And just as we thought the day was over, Supergrass only went and started playing all their old favourites in the Paddock! What a great day and thank you to those who did join us. Shame the rest of you couldn’t make it…..but maybe next time! And more hats please ladies. Thanks go to Sodexho Prestige, Ascot Racecourse, The Bull at Gerrard’s Cross and Beaumont House.

Gemma gets married!

On Thursday 18th June 2009, our lovely Gemma Pearce became Mrs Gemma Cummings when she made an honest man of the equally lovely Will! The ceremony took place at Cocobay Resort in Antigua where they were joined for the occasion by some friends and Gemma’s parents. The newlyweds then used the rest of their time in paradise as a honeymoon – although Gemma is still insisting that they go away again!!

Celebrations were held back in Blighty with a reception at The Captain’s Club in Christchurch on Friday 10th July 2009 where they were joined by lots more friends and family to party until the wee small hours.

We wish Gemma & Will (the new Mr & Mrs Cummings) the very best of luck for their future together……aaaaaaahhhhhhh!

Absolute Client Weekend | April 2009 | Norton Park, Winchester

What a fabulous weekend! Even the rain stayed away (may have been scared of the noise levels?!?!). Lots of new faces to meet and regulars to catch up with (I won’t say “old faces”, that would just be rude).

There’s not much else to say really as the photographs say it all! But a big thank you to Blue Hat and Q Hotels – hopefully we will be back very soon!
